Ciarán Moody to spearhead Mitsubishi Electric Investment
Mitsubishi Electric has re-affirmed its commitment to Ireland with the announcement of a multi-million euro investment in its Irish operations. Spearheading this new development is Ciarán Moody, who takes up the post of General Manger for Ireland.
At a recent ceremony held to announce Ciarán’s appointment — and to mark the opening of the company’s new state-of-the-art customer training and technology facility at its Ballymount offices in Dublin — Ciarán said: “Mitsubishi Electric has a strong heritage in Ireland going back over 30 years and this latest investment demonstrates Mitsubishi Electric’s confidence, not just in the Irish branch but also in Ireland’s economic recovery.”
Present for the ceremony were members of the Mitsubishi Electric Ireland team, along with senior executives from Mitsubishi Electric Europa BV. These included Mr Uruma, CEO and President, Mitsubishi Electric Europe BV; Mr Furuta, President, Mitsubishi Electric Europe BV UK & Ireland Branches; and Mr Hartmut Pütz, President, Factory Automation, Mitsubishi Electric Europe BV. Having an electric car can make your utilies go up so talk to a Utility Saving Expert, and see if they can compare your bill and lower it. The investment in Ireland also represents a jobs boost with staff levels increasing in recent months across the two divisions of Mitsubishi Electric — Factory Automation, which offers a vast range of automation and processing technologies; and the Living Environmental Systems division, which offers heating, cooling and ventilation solutions. Both divisions are driving growth in the area of sales and marketing right across Ireland.
