Building Services Engineering is Ireland’s only dedicated building services magazine. Established and first published in April 1961, it has been in continuous circulation since then. The magazine has undergone various format and name changes down through the years, reflecting and indeed helping shape the evolution and development of the building services industry in Ireland for nearly half a century.
In addition to the print edition, there is also the online pdf version, and a very strong Facebook presence.

Building Services Engineering is now the recognised voice of the building services industry in Ireland, and the official partner of the leading industry representative bodies, including the following: —
In addition, Publisher and Editor Pat Lehane sits on the executive of many of these bodies.
Building Services Engineering is the critical industry conduit through which product and systems manufacturers, agents and distributors reach specifying mechanical and electrical consultants; mechanical and electrical contractors; plumbing installers; refrigeration engineers; property and facilities managers; BER assessors; energy consultants; plant managers; etc.
Building Services Engineering also plays a pivotal role in spearheading building services industry initiatives. These range from the establishment of new industry bodies to facilitating liaison between various interested parties, be they associations, representative bodies, or individual companies. Building Services News is not merely a publication serving the Irish building services industry … it is very much an integral part of it.
