LAI AGM covers extensive agenda as Dave Murphy of Signify appointed as new Chair

The Lighting Association Ireland (LAI) AGM was held in November with 75% of the membership in attendance.

The extensive agenda covered everything from engagement with construction-related professional associations and statutory Government bodies, to reports from LAI delegate representatives on LightingEurope Committees, the EIFI, CIBSE Ireland, NSAI and many others.
Topics covered included the SEAI Triple E scheme; EPREL; the Energy Show; Training + Education; WEEE Ireland; Current + Impending Lighting Legislation; Emergency Lighting; the role of lighting in wellbeing and energy/carbon reduction; Sustainability; and the Circular Economy.

New LAI Chair and Vice Chair

Having served his two-year term as Chair, Gavin Edwards of Fagerhult stepped down and handed the reins over to newly-elected Chair Dave Murphy of Signify. Dan Hope from Ovia is the new Vice-Chair.
